This is part 3 in my RPG game tutorial. It shows you how to create a chat box so the player can talk to NPC's. It's a bit longer than the other 2 because it's a bit more complicated to make a chat box than to do saving or scrolling

  • Awesome. But is it possible to have the player choose what to say? So say "Sara" says "How are you" and you can either say "good" or "bad". Then if the player says good, she says somehing else, but if the player says "bad" then she says like, "why" or something. So the character can sort of shape the conversation?

  • @usonutube2011 Yes there is a way to do that but I can't explain that in the 400 charecters I'm allowed in this comment. Your not the first one to ask about that so I'll try to make a tutorial about asap ;)

  • @ISwareToGosh click on the box and then under properties click on the red play button tab and then uncheck follow the frame

  • @FirstDropShow Never mind I figured it out :D

  • This was really helpful but unfortunately I cannot make the string become invisible when the value reaches 3. Any idea as to why?
