My dad,
Had his last show planned on what was going to happen. He wanted to take callers and his family we wanted to call in and say our good byes.
My dad loved this, I know I went to work with him a lot more than my 3 older sisters and my brother. My dad started the military part, right after my brother in law came home. It gave so many families a free phone call.....It is sad to see my dad still not on air, but he is enjoying his family, grand girls and more.

Could have made a fortune if you shorted entercom stock the monday after Moe was let go...think it trades for $2 now.

I missed this when it first aired.I've been a regular listener from the begining. You are correct Moe;WRKO was the best at one time. The older I get,the more I realize that we never realy know how great something is until after it is gone. Best of luck Moe From a listener in Dighton

I would wake up some Saturday mornings and I enjoyed listening to Moe. He should just walked the hell out. If you don't know the story, he was fired shortly after his shift started, but wasn't told about it about halfway through the shift. He got the raw end of the stick.
What the heck are they doing to RKO? Used to be a great station and the nitwits in charge have managed to really screw it up. I'm going to miss Moe a great deal.

Moe was the reason I woke up early on Saturday morning. Today I did so and was bombarded with reruns of the weekday shows I DO NOT listen to. Shame on WRKO. It USED to be the best! Now it's just fellonius central.
