wht country is it in? i remember this from indiana jones :)

It's a whole city and you can climb around and inside of just about any cave, but it's pretty bare and nothing like the outside of the treasury (temple) @eriqbrown

i want to see the inside. are there any vids of the inside of the temple? is there an invisible bridge? lol I have had out of body exp. where i was inside a temple that had alot of likeness to the outside of this temple. it looked alot like the grand gallery where indiana jones dad was shot. everytime it happens i walk a ways through a hallway, then into that huge room with 30-40 foot pillers like the ones shown in this video on the outside of the temple.

@WorldWideNate If you would like to do the whole bunch i.e. Treasury, High Place of Sacrifice, go down to the Agora and continue to the Monastery then you would need a donkey to help you some of the way. We were there from 8AM till sunset (you can't stay longer) and we had enough. A donkey could cut an hour or so from the ascend to the Monastery and also on the ascend to the High Place of Sacrifice. Guess that the crowds won't be big after the treasury and roman theatre.

@Beran1979 I'm planning on arriving at 10 am, do you think that is too late? I would like to beat the crowds also. I plan to leave Eilat in the morning and arrive to Petra. If i can adjust trip to stay over night in Petra I will try to work that out too

@BoyFromHollywood Jordan is directly connected to the Red Sea and it is safe. I felt safer there than in Israel. and there is lots to see. Wadi Rumm, Petra, Amman etc.
