SYLVA RENA -- A high-speed pursuit that began in Tallahatchie County and crossed over into Yalobusha County ended around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2010, when the vehicle crashed into the "bridge out" warning sign on County Road 18. The driver, a female wanted by Tallahatchie County authorities, bailed out of the car and ran into the woods. Two passengers, a man and a woman, were taken into custody at the scene. Yalobusha County Deputies searched the area while Tallahatchie County Deputies were seem removing small plastic bottles from the white Nissan Maxima. At 3:40 a Charleston Police Officer arrived with a search dog. At 3:45 radio traffic indicated that the female had been captured. A short time later an agent from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation arrived and a HAZMAT clean-up crew was on the way from Jackson. At the beginning of the video, Tallahatchie County Deputy Patrick Tribble and another deputy are shown examining the car.
