I wanted to test how well QML based application runs on N900. I built qt-kinetic's kinetic-declarativeui branch from gitorious for N900. I was surprised how well these apps really ran on the device.

  • I didn't remove "Maemo" from the device. There are QML / Qt Declarative / Qt Quick applications running on N900 same ways as Qt / GTK applications.

    Just install Qt's declarative package from repositories and there you go - just make your own Qt Quick application and run it on device.
