It's called ADHD. Just like in the Mickey Rourke movie "The Wrestler," where he misses meeting his estranged daughter for dinner on her birthday... and twice as sad, because it's REAL.
The father-daughter angle in "The Wrestler" was definitely taken from the life of Jake Roberts, it was spot-on.

Why do some ppl think this is sad? No one put a gun to his head and said "do drugs and be an absentee father or else I pull the trigger" Jake made his decisions and he paid it. That being said, I hope he and his daughter have a healthy relationship and he is doing better now.
