I'm afraid you're wrong there rich17279....The engine that is now in that car is called the N series...Completely fixed all of the problems with the K....Powertrain LTD were also about to release the new Head Gasket for the K series and then the company went bust.

Fun cars to drive but they're so old now, the head gasket fault was never resolved either in nearly 2 decades of this engines production

I love MG's but this car is way to old now, unless it is ridiculously cheap to buy then I will be buying an MX-5.

I guess they will not, they merge with SAIC last December. So... that means they have considerable amount of money to play with.... I hope...
