Ето че и в Сардиния, Словения и Ирландия имат персонажи твърде сходни на балканските кукери! Тук фолклорни групи са на гости на фестивала в Перник, февруари 2008.

Similar carnival traditions (Mardi Gras or Christmas) exist throughout Europe - here, groups for presenting the local tradition from Sardinia, Slovenia and Ireland.

  • In Bavaria and Austria too! I'm from Bulgaria and sow them in Regensburg! Fantastic, i was so amased, here there are called Perchten and are just like the bulgarian ones.

  • Descent from a common pagan proto-religion.

  • The question I have is - why do these quite separated areas - Ireland, Balkans and Sardinia - have very similar carnival traditions?

  • Beautiful tradition! 5*
