Great to see the young lady is paying attention to the road and not the netbook. NOT. Keep driving like this young lady and you are not going to make old bones. Just hoping when you take yourself out by not paying attention, you are the only one you kill. Wise up and pay attention to the road, cars are serious and you need to pay attention.

So what happens when the air bag goes off beside it?
Flying laptop? I see lawsuits in the manufacturers future.

@GM98106 you can also hook it up to the cars computer and get you car stats as you drive...thats what i did

this is stupid.. distracted driver on the hyw Great.. Why would you not stop the car to make the demonstration?

most people use auto desktops while parked well i would hope they do there is no way i would use this a suction cups will not hold good way to break your laptop.

I intend to use this with my Samsung N150 along with GPS dongle and Microsoft Streets & Trips.
I already have the netbook, so why should I get ripped off by the likes of TomTom? Plus, using a netbook as GPS is more versatile, since you can use it in other places, too...I like to use it to track flights, trains, buses, ships, etc...or even going camping, if you have a portable power source.

Thanks, I've been looking for one of these, looks high quality. Much cheaper/more versatile to use existing netbook as GPS with simple dongle and car mount rather than buy a pricey pre-packaged device like TomTom or Garmin.
To indignants: using GPS in cars is legal now in most jurisdictions and is safe if used responsibly...some people now rely on this to do their job. In fact, it may even be less distracting not having to squint at the tiny screens on typical GPS devices.
Are kidding me? That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I guess if you think you're so IMPORTANT that you have to be on your laptop while driving then this stupid product is for you.

@GM98106 well there are people who know about netbooks with gps and location based services. and there are people who don't, like you ;)
think about so many people in the service industry who needs to get information on the screen while they are driving from one appointment to the other.
