Some may argue that we would be more effective
if we sanctioned torture
or other expedient methods to obtain
information from the enemy. They would be wrong.

Cheney gave the best speech ever in 2009 when he did this one. He spoke the truth.

We justify killing or causing serious bodily injury to persons under our legal system in self defense or other defense.

Waterboarding the worst terrorists to protect the lives of thousands is a no-brainer. Unfortunately for many emotional liberals, such logical thinking never takes place.

You don't believe we should have waterboarded three terrorists to prevent the follow up to 9/11?

THEN DON"T EVER hurt or kill someone in defense of yourself or family. .

This Halloween I'll be dressed up as Satan--- oh wait the outfit is too expensive. I'll just buy the cheaper Dick Cheney mask to wear instead- much scarier and more evil too!

I like your definition of nazism, but you are skewering the Iraq War on your profile page.
It is not 'won' otherwise the US led coalition would still not be there in near full force still.

Secondly, regarding the success of the Surge- it was stagnant and not meeting its benchmark goals which nevertheless the Dems in Senate ignored and continued to fund the effort. One thing tipped the scales in the Anbar Province. The Sunni Awakening Councils turning against al quaeda.
ps-satan costume= joke!
