My 4 minutes of fame,, LOL,, I finished a gig in Rochester at midnight and me & my then 2nd wife Karen & I drove straight thru to Nashville, Tenn. to do the taping a 8am.
Well I was signed in on time and did not get my turn at bat till late in the afternoon, setting there all that time watching other acts. I was burnt out, when it came my time & so was my voice. My stage presense was lacking a bit too. I got asked to come back, but dollars stopped that from happening. I paid for the air time,, it isn't cheap.
I don't have the program to convert the VCR tape so I improvised here and tried to match the original soundtrack of the song. It's was a no-go but here it is,, featuring some really hot links, from Brent Evans.
We had high hopes on the tune, but it didn't go much farther, I couldn't afford to push it. This was about the only time I did it this way. It got pitched to Randy Travis & some others and listen'd to by their A&R's, back then. Hoping to get in the door.
Brent produced the song for me and did he ever. What a talent Brent is, he's still plucking away at it too. I've heard some of his jingles on TV here at home & radio, he does as he writes and moves his music and band. Brent Evans & Lost Luggage. Check out his web site for areas he'll be in next to you. Your sure to enjoy it.
