Show the hooks not your face. I can't see what you are doing.

@weitendf I've heard that also but I heard it was just a rumor other places. I'm glad I didn't try those fireline worm harnesses I made the other day. Used normal monofilament 8lb camo line. Didn't catch anything but had a great time on the lake.

@TheCatFan21 fireline is great in some applications, like jigging in a river or even just a casting situation where you want an no stretch line. Unfortunately here with a crawler harness that is not the case, there is some play needed in the harness itself, that is why i use a co-poly line like p-line. also there are problems with superlines like firelin not holding knots like snells very well because it will slip over itself too easily and not hold the hook properly.

@weitendf I have heard great things about Trilene Fireline but I love Mr. Crappie line for all sorts of fish. I even caught a muskie with it once.

How do you tie the snell knot? It's hard to see.

thanks for the tip, I am using 12 pound P-line Fluroclear on them and seems like they are working great so far.
great video oh how to make these rigs, just started to make them myself and repair the old monofiliment ones my dad has.

yes, use premium, i use flurocarbon 12-20 lb test because of its low abrasion quailities. super lines just don't work well because of knot strength.

How do you hook the worm on? I've never fished for walleye before so I'm a newb. What are the beads for?
