hey, the girl is THIRTEEN years old for goodness sake! Aside to that, she's playing and singing at the same time, which i know from experience is extremely difficult (it's a lot easier to just concentrate on one thing at a time). Alicia's singing will get there over the next 5-10 years or so, and the guitar playing will take care of itself! :-)

A fine, fine job. Remember what that music is about, keep it up! And feel every note out of that guitar--I can see you do. Without fail, your greatest guitar moments will be those when you can't help but lean back a little, bend those knees, shake that head, even holler out a bit, because those are the moments when you connected with your instrument--and that's where the magic is. You know that, though.

ANY 13 year old you can even get close to SRV licks deserves the utmost respect in my book. and notice the lyrical changes.. THAT IS BLUES.. your own vision and feeling of everything.. keep playing chick.. your gonna go a long way in life with that thing..
