  • Hey Anna :D. I'm in the same place, nobody knows about my social anxiety and I don't think I want to tell them just yet either. I hope the best for you! You're a cool chick. I need to catch up on your videos now, take care ! ;)

  • It's definitely difficult to tell people about SA, I still haven't been completely successful with it either. But I hope you're doing well, and thanks for watching my vids! :)

  • I see that you quoted T.E. Lawrence. Have you ever seen Lawrence of Arabia? That's one hell of a movie.

  • Yes, I love it too! :D

  • Hi Anna. That was a great intro. Something about your voice is so re-assuring. Looking forward to seeing more of you. Take care.

  • Thank you so much for the support, it definitely keeps me motivated! Hope you're doing well too! :)

  • Thank you so much for your support, it's very encouraging! Everyone's SA vids have really been a great source of inspiration and understanding for me, they're a great resource and a great way for all of us to connect with other people (especially when those people are going through similar situations). I can't imagine how difficult having selective mutism was for you, but I'm very glad that you overcame it! I hope that with determination and compassion, we can all overcome our SA in time! :D

  • As for how I discovered my SAD, it was when I searched on youtube for SAD videos that I found BulletProofMonkeon and seeing how similar are experiences have been, I realized I had it. From there, I started my youtube account as DepecheEyes (which I later deleted) and uploaded SA Vlogs.

Anyway, I hope you continue to make more videos but more importantly I hope you overcome your SAD. :-)

  • Thank you for those two videos Anna!

I've had Social Anxiety for my whole life. Around Middle School, I had selective mutism (meaning I didn't spoke at all in public) but I managed to overcome it somewhere within Middle School.

I didn't do too well in School in general. I was in Special Ed, I cut school excessively, usually had average or low grades, and procrastinated a lot. In fact, I dropped out of High School (but luckily I have obtained my GED).

  • Thank you! I'm going to try and keep it going, thanks for the support! ;)
