I love this Documentary about the biopic movie "EL CANTANTE" !! This it's the part when they talk about the Musicians friend of Lavoe and the Nuyorican Culture, also about the ENABLERS on his life !!!

En este video dicen que Rubén Blades compuso El Cantante especialmente para Héctor Lavoe y no es cierto.El propio Rubén en el SDRB lo desmintió. Fue una canción que compuso como muchas otras y se la dio a Héctor para que la cantara. Ya sabemos lo que pasó, la interpretación de Héctor Lavoe escribió historia en la música latina y no habrá nadie que la pueda cantar igual. La interpretación de Victor Manuelle es muy buena porque es acústica y con otro arreglo.
