@fragman08 Sounds like a bargain to me. Never mind the condition as long as it sounds and plays like a dream eh?

@wahwah666 Also the pups are from a mim fender strat, prefer SSS to HSS so I'm happy with them.

@wahwah666 It's a fender, got it for £300 yesterday but it's far from pristine condition. Plays rather nicely, rosewood fretboard (HATE maple) and bright red. The bridge, pickguard and (lack of) backplate are different to the stock one, plus a few dents and dinks from 24 years of service.

@fragman08 Is that a Squier or a Fender? I was offered £450 for my Squier so I'd say it's worh a go. If it plays and sounds like a dream you'll have a near destrucible guitar. Go for it!

@wahwah666 fender I forgot to say, don't see strats at those prices, but the yanks seem to have them cheap =/

@wahwah666 I'm getting a beat up '87 today for 300 quid, good deal?

I agree about the stock pickups, but they had the unacceptable fault of being being variable output from one string to the next...in another words, one string would be lower volume than the other. I don't care one way or another about pickups as long as the guitar has them, but the stocks were pretty bad...I put in some Fender Noiseless. I know everyone hates them, but they sound fine to me...

@beeeastmaster no idea what the body is made of but it resonates well.
