John Broomhall is credited for having composed the music for this game.

Track 9, "Can't Get There From Here", has a long silence before playing the last, apparently unrelated part. The silence has been cut out and the last part was added as track 10.

These songs were recorded on Mac OS X 10.6 using the standard MIDI banks (using OpenTTD 1.0.2). 2004 saw the release of the first version of OpenTTD, a reverse engineered version of the original. It's still in development as of today and can be downloaded for free from http://openttd.org/. (This soundtrack release has no connection whatsoever to the OpenTTD project.)
