Só uma pergunta: está aí o debate na íntegra? Porque se estiver na íntegra, M. Shermer não teve chance alguma com S. Meyer. Shermer chega ao ponto de sugerir que Deus pode ter usado as leis físicas, as forças naturais e um processo direcionado pra criar o universo e a vida. Mas, esse processo é evolução ou criação? Logicamente parece criação. Se for assim, Deus é o designer. A ciência limita-se em dizer se existe ou não um designer. Quem é o designer não faz parte do âmbito de estudo da ciência.

o apresentador joga a verdade no final, na escola ensinam que a evolução é a origem da vida mais quanto mais vc estuda mais a fundo ciencias mais avançadas você ve que a evolução mostrada como a origem da vida é muito duvidosa.

In case you didn't get that, because God is more complex than the "watch" or world he created, arguing that there must be a designer of the world necessarily implies a belief in a more improbable "thing" just existing on its own. God of the gaps, educate yourselves people... This is not to say there isn't a God, it is just to say that his argument is flawed (to say the least).

LoL, Meyer doesn't have a SINGLE proof for what he's saying. He is relying upon his audience sharing his assumption of the watchmaker. Well, the watchmaker is NECESSARILY more complex than the watch, therefore LESS likely of existing on its own. Wow, ignorance is so rampant...

 Is he serious! Intelligent design is a Christian backed agenda, always has been. To say it behooves those of any religion to support it is absurd and clearly just another desperate qualifier to justify its support.
