or he might not mean it sooo cynical, perhaps his goal in life was to become a famous actor and be recognized for that, and by doing that hes "made it" like if my goal was to climb everest, then i do it, iv "made it". i agree, i honestly think he doesnt really give too much crap about it, but because its all he gets asked he gets really frustrated, so all he can do in the end is laugh
