Here's a short and intense interval training sprint workout that will take you only 25 minutes, or less. You will do some dynamic stretching, a couple laps around the track as a warm up, then do five 200 meter sprints alternating with walking (or jogging) around the track for 200 meters.
Simple, but very, very effective to help you lose more fat.

  • will i lose my 14% body fat to 10% with these workout in a few week? with eating my calories below 10% of my TDEE ? help.. need response

  • @SomeKidWithAsianEyes - 10% of your TDEE, or below your TDEE? 70-80% OF your TDEE sounds better, which means 20-30% below your TDEE. Know I'm talking semantics, but it's a very important difference. These workouts should definitely help.

  • Hi, I have within the last year lost 70 pounds doing cardio and eating better-I was 185 lbs and now I'm 115 lbs (yay!) I'm happy I lost that much and I'm not trying to get under weight but I still have this little bit of stubborn lower belly fat. If I do this HIIT 3 x a week and continue eating good do you think that the belly fat will finally dissapear? Also, do staitionary sprints have the same effect, or should I do it outside? I hope to hear back from you and would appreciate it, thanks!

  • @sabrina892007 - Congrats on your successful body transformation! Very impressive. The last bit of belly fat is always the hardest to get rid of. The most important part of the equation is the nutrition. You may need to diet down even more (reduce calories) to finally burn the last amount off. Try tracking your calories and seeing how much you eat. I have a great article on built lean called "How Many Calories Should I Eat To Lose Weight". Use the search bar on the website to see it.

  • @naothi - I think if you are eating properly (eating more calories than you burn, 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight etc.), you do have a good shot at building muscle on your legs doing hill sprints. Many famous football players like Walter Payton used to do tons of hill sprints and they had massive legs.

  • I do wind sprints(10x40 yards) on monday, wednesday and friday. Sometimes add a few reps of hill sprints and do bodyweight circuit training on tuesday, thursday and saturday. Is that fine?

  • @naothi - That sounds good to me! Just listen to your body and be sure to eat clean, whole foods and get enough sleep. Your workout regimen sounds solid with ample cardio/strength. One thing to consider is adding in some foam rolling/stretching if you are not doing so already.

  • you are usin steroids , you are making money by presenting your body but its all the job of your steroids, you have small balls because of your steroids. Interval training is useless you cant loose weight at definite heart frequency

  • @BuiltLeanTV 10% below of my TDEE i mean... i can already see my 4 pack abs... and thanks for the reply... I'll take your advice ;)

  • @sabrina892007

Interval weight training can be used to loose weight and not put on bulk.

I know runners who do weight training as part of there training and combine it with cardio.

pilates is a great exercise that can be incorporated into cardio training. It is also a form of strength training similar to weight training.

The stronger you muscle are the more calorie's your body can consume. Allot of people make the mistake of cutting calories you need them for energy.

    1/1

Your height and weight are considered to be at an acceptable level.

In regards to you asthma have you consulted a doctor about exercise and your options. Do not be put of exercise by asthma as now of quite a few athletes that have asthma.

So sprinting could still be an option but first make a consultation.

Just to make you aware also weight training does not make people bulky that requires a particular type of weight training.

  • @bighands69 Thank you for your advice, and I'm 5 ft 41/2 in. Actually, I have not done the HIIT this week as I suddenly started having breathing problems and found out I have asthma & sprinting is too hard on me- great! I'm going to try pilates though & think that will be good for me and not to much on the asthma and will help me feel/look thinner and lean. I dont want to get bulky or guy-ish. Thank you again for your tips though :)

  • @sabrina892007

You should also include strength training in your routine.

Strengthening your muscle can also burn fat. Muscular work out burn fat after you are finish.

Doing HIIT twice a week is more than enough. I am a boxer and endurance runner and I only do them twice a week.

What height are you for 115 pounds.

  • O my god very nice
