It is November 9, 2010 in Churchill, Manitoba, on Canada's Hudson Bay, and something is not quite right. Geoff York, polar bear programme director for the WWF Global Arctic Programme, explains why things are not as they should be, and that we need to take action. For more information on the work WWF is doing in the Arctic please visit the WWF Global Arctic Programme website: http://www.panda.org/arctic.

  • Brings down the misrule! Fight 4 the world...

  • Anyone who can deny that Global Warming and climate change is not an issue is part of the problem with the human species. There is to much evidence of human damage over the years of careless fuel burning.

If you need help trying to figure out how to help, then try to cut down on your consumption of fossil fuels. Google global warming and you can find plenty of ways to reduce extra emissions.

Educate yourselves before you comment on things you cannot fathom.

  • I'd love to help but I don't know how :( Next to panda bears polar bears are my FAVORITE animal, no matter how mean they would be if I ever met them face to face haha :) They're adorable and we need to help them!

  • sad, however nature... the earth heats and cools in cycles, i highly doubt humans can fix anything here :( the falling of some species and the rise of new ones is a pattern. we cant make every species live forever.

like i said though, this is sad, as any animal starving is. but global warming? im just not buying it.
