Man, I miss these Saturday afternoon CBS / ABC fights that were for world titles. Why was this stopped? I knew who all the champs were back then

You're exactly right, Pringle. Thank you for catching my slip. I meant round 12, of course, (1st fight), and for some reason had 15 on the brain. I think it's b/c I've been watching a lot of the classic bouts of the 70's on YT lately!
BTW, for a fabulous round 15 (& this time I really do mean 15), check out Ali vs. Shavers. I think I left a comment there.

@pnutbutrncrackers both Mosley- De La Hoya fights were scheduled for 12 rounds.

Round 8 is without question one of the all-time great rounds ever. Deserves to be on the short list of best boxing rounds, IMO (along with Hagler-Hearns round 1, Mosley- De La Hoya 15th round (first fight), and several others.
