The word is necromancy, not necromancing. Rather than blaming the secret hidden messages in a film for the problems of today's world (and if they are so secret how would a child even see them?) why not look inward? Armchair judges like yourself are part of the problem, not the solution. Stop complaining about things that don't exist, get off your arse and help people.

The golden compass is a fictional film, for family entertainment, nothing more, yeh let's all take 10 year olds to see the exorcist cus that's not Gunna mentally scar them for life, I'm sure the exorcist will do them much more damage than seeing a fantasy film about a girl going to the north to save children, really, not everything is about god, get over it

@Thanks4TheClues same here, i've watched it once and found it boring, stupid and as you said quite creapy, and this was before i started reading about evil Masonic messages in films and all this stuff, i saw there was something not right about it and haven't watched it since!

Try reading the (modern classic and hugely important) trilogy instead of slagging off the film. It has several messages in it, a major one being 'the end of death'. Allowing people to feel that when they die they are simply consumed and return to dust. Without guilt. The priesthood, who have no right to interfere in public life, want something like a new human race, without daemons... And without the knowledge of the universe. (Three cheers for Galileo). The 'God' is actually a 'fallen angel'.
