Got one of these and some expansions to replace my trusty old E-Mu XL-7 for my rompling needs and thought I'd throw this quick little demo kinda thingie together to kind of get a feel of the overall character of the thing/how easy it is to throw performance setups together/how easy it is to tweak presets and build patches from scratch. Some of the patches are presets, some of them are presets that have been slightly edited, and the pad was cobbled together from scratch.
I mostly got this thing as my realistic orchestral/drum machine, but the Orchestral and Dynamic Drums expansions haven't arrived in the mail yet, so that aspect of it hasn't been tested yet. That aside, I have to admit I'm more impressed with this synth than I thought I'd be. I'm more of a hands-on analog guy, so the computer editing is a little slow for my liking, but I think the results are worth the effort. I'm in love with the overall sound of this box and fully expanded, it's really a monster of a synth.
@1PeterKong I used to think that way too until I started reading the Bible.
