  • But it's probably better to get a vortech instead really. Unless you just like burn outs. High way rolls are vortechs. Easier to install and reliable warranty. So that and gears would be beastly and kill gts with bolt ons(except cams). Obviously a full bolt on gt would be past 400hp and crazy. But the v6 is lighter and more nimble. I will buy another 2000 sooner or later

  • Dyno tune is more exact. But I doubt you keep up with a gt with 3.55 gears. And getting walked isn't keeping up. I've let a v6 get speed to about 75 before passing me and me dropping to 2nd around 60 and pulled past him by the end of third. Check out my vids, my gt has little mods too. It was also a 2002 v6. Seems v6 need more love and parts to really perform. My friend has 99 with pypes duals, cai, and tune. He keeps up until I hit second and then I'm gone.

  • @maxshuty do for me in the power department. If you recommend a pro dyno tune over the SCT tunes that i am currently using.

  • @maxshuty I bought the 2009 V6 recently (u know u have to be balling to buy GT's and all that shit lol) and before my car would only top out at about 110. I got rid of that stock airbox, and got a JLT CAI, i got rid of the stock manifolds and got Pypes stainless steel headers, and the pypes true dual exhaust conversion kit, and tuned it out. My car is keeping up with GT's after those minor mods. I was looking at getting this X-charger for my ride and i was trying to figure out what this would

  • @westcoastlife4show They now make X-Charger X-treme kits (I believe thats what they are called..?) I've seen people throwing down over 330RWHP or more with them. Which is a heck of a lot of horsepower, should be good to get you in the 12's with the right weather conditions

  • slow x-charger...

  • i miss those good days at firebird....

  • all you need is 3.73 gears and u will take the gt

  • Yeah, put a twin turbo kit instead of a supercharger. Change the headers, throttle body, spacer, 15mm high -performance wiring, gt500 fuel injector takeoffs, throw shifter kit, aluminum tires, smaller pullies, machine the head to make the holes bigger, change the exhaust, retard the plugs a little, remove speed/rev limiter, 93 grade gas, rear seat deletes = about 475hp

  • well to get the v6 mustang with and xcharger to 400 or past it you have to up the injectors to a higher pound .... Change the computer settings with a scanner ... Defiantly change out the exhuast... Rear end and you should be on your way to getting a 400 horse v6 it can be done
