  • Nice to see some old school P-71 still in service, if it still is in service and not someone doing it for show or for a tv/movie screen shooting scene. Otherwise, a very nice vehicle to see if it is still on the road responding to calls. If it were an actual call, I bet that CHP officer won't ever let that car go no matter what.

  • who ells saw that girl sitting in the trunk of another 1991 Crown Victoria? By the way that is one of the nicest cars on the road today. I hate design for most of the cars built from 2008 to 2011, they look like ugly ass rockets.

  • @gamewizard yes

  • Ummm...isn't it illegal for civilians to have cars with light bars and sirens?

  • @BostonPolice He's responding to a real call.

  • Why is it sad? The car shows have early 1900s emegency vehicles up through the early 1990s. No different then restoring classic/muscle cars etc.

  • it's a restored crown vic. sadly there are whole groups of people out there that do this. it is not an active patrol, not a spare, not an old 'pool' car. it is a wicky whack that is way too into police cars. jeezus it is amazing what people will argue and speculate about...and the lengths they will go to think they are right.

  • @crownvix That's actually not true at all. It depends on state law. Where I live (Ohio), the law does not say an emergency vehicle must stop at red lights, stop signs, etc. It says they must exercise due regard for other motorists. The driver in this video did so properly. I don't see the problem.

  • if you notice there are 3 people in the vehicle, powers of observation, CHP does not keep old cars like that in service, that one is completely restored in immaculate condition, unlikely for a vehicle in service of that age, and even though i couldnt find a frame with a clear shot of the license plate, it did not appear to be an california exempt plate. i vote for either the movie shoot theory, or bostonpolice's theory of some kind of show.
