Britney Spears pulled over for speeding

Pop Star Britney Spears had a run in with the law over the weekend. She was pulled over on Friday for allegedly speeding in Beverly Hills. Police say the singer was only given a warning and not cited for the violation. People magazine reports she had been at the dance studio working out earlier in the day. She's also reportedly working on a new album and getting ready to get back on stage.

Oscar nominee Keisha Castle Hughes has welcomed a new daughter. People magazine says the 17 year old actress, nominated for her role in "Whale Rider," gave birth to a healthy baby girl last week. The baby, named Felicity-Amore, is the first child for Castle-Hughes and her boyfriend Bradley Hull. The couple have been dating for 3 years now and live in New Zealand.

One former "American Idol" contestant is facing drug and assault charges. Fox News reports Jessica Sierra, a finalist on the fourth season, was arrested in Tampa, Florida early Sunday morning. Police say the 21 year old smashed a glass over a man's head leaving a gash on his face. When police arrested her, they found cocaine in her purse. Sierra is reportedly working as a waitress until she finds a recording contract.

Actress Scarlett Johansson is proving acting is not her only talent. She got on stage over the weekend to sing with the band Jesus and Mary Chain. Johansson joined the band towards the end of their set at the Coachella music festival in southern California. The Scottish group did the soundtrack for her film "Lost in Translation." The annual event wrapped up last night and brought more than 100,000 people.

Anna Nicole Smith's daughter officially has a new father...and a new last name. "Entertainment Tonight" reports Dannielynn Hope's last name has been changed from Smith to Birkhead. After a Bahamian court ruled Larry Birkhead to be her father, he had the name changed on her birth certificate. He reportedly plans to bring Dannielynn back to his home in Kentucky.
