I when with my grandma to a - i can't recall the name of it. but there was dancing and a big fire and lots of food. I remember we all got up and danced. It was so much fun. It was a celebration, but I don't remember what for. I think It was for my families heritage.... I think... Its been forever since then.

I can agree westerners tried and succeeded a little in destroying some aspects of African culture; take any modern African history class and you'll see what I mean. But I would argue we're not all like that, and that for the most part it's stopped.
