Guys, a cage wouldn't have done anything in this situation. It caught him right under the ear. Ear guards may have helped some, but I doubt it.

I've broken my jaw in a game before too (shoulder to the chin). Sucks so bad, one of the worst pains and worst recoveries you can suffer through. Wishing you well, Patrick. Protip: Milkshakes are your BEST FRIEND. Don't blend food up, it's awful and you won't wanna choke it down.

More than a day later, I still cringe, paustn.
