Free Brindi Now! NINE months in the pound is NINE too many!

A dogcatcher seized a rescue dog named Brindi Rogier on July 24, 2008 and ordered her to be euthanized. But she never bit a person, and never badly hurt a dog; her reactive streak never led to anything serious. The euthanization order was quashed Jan. 16, 2009; the owner charged with first violations (ever) on Jan. 19. The trial is set for June, and only after that can the city hope to get a new euthanization order. Without one, Brindi continues to be held without any apparent legal basis!!

Now she might have cancer! The shelter vet found a lump near her spine. It won't be certain until a vet can biopsy the lump that was recently found close to her spine. Please pray that the owner can find a way to get this dog out now! The trial will be long and risky - even though Brindi didn't cause much harm, and her owner was never charged before, judges have limitless power when it comes to dogs and they don't like to cross municipal authorities!

But Brindi may not have much time left! She should be freed to go home to her lawful, loving owner! Haven't they suffered enough?

AND the owner desperately needs a GOOD LAWYER and DONATIONS to not only get Brindi out, but to pay the first lawyer she trusted but failed to do the job and is now defrauding her out of $51,000!!!!

IF doesn't cut it, sylvanis13. Hypothetical if's can be used on anything and anybody, and humans are far more dangerous than dogs.

Dogs don't even rank in the top 100 causes of violent death.

And this dog has NEVER, ever even growled at a kid or an adult. Kids have thrown themselves at her, and she stays gentle and doesn't even sniff at them.

Stop spreading fear.

In all the stuff I read, news etc. I hve not seen one thing mentioning Brindi biting any humans or dogs! Where did you get your info? I want to see links prooving your accusation!

This video is very well done! I ended up crying for the poor dog not being at home with her mommy! It's not fair! It scares me to death that this sort of thing happens all the time with the OSPCA. It would kill me if my dog was taken from me. :(

i will help so much to get the dog back and i know how it feels my dog who is 4 was going to die in 2 days and we got here back in time and 1 year later she died of cancer she died this year

I'm so sick of these innocent, human friendly dogs being taken away just because of a BS law! If my dogs were taken, I'd break into the shelter and take them back! Because these laws are ridiculous! Dogs are animals and they will get into a scuffle sometimes for multiple reasons! If no dog was injured, than the owner was responsible enough to manage its' dog aggression. Free BRINDI!
