@Kasen16 - And you're a foul mouth loser nobody.

They pretty much all have they're issues but daewoo seem to be the easiest i've used. The panasonic would only record to DVD if you told it how long you want it to record for and once the time is set you can not stop it, short of pulling the plug out. With the Daewoo you just press record and does so until you press stop.

@morrismagic08 I just want to convert old videos onto DVDs. So for me it's not too complicated. I'm gonna buy one and just wanted to know the best quality?

@JessShia I have a black daewoo combo at the moment. It still does something weird to the tapes if transfering from DVD to VCR but it's a lot easier to use,has built in freeview and accepts any type of disc NTSC, PAL, plus+R and minus-R.

@morrismagic08 Which one do you recommend people to buy??

This machine is a nightmare to use! It wont play NTSC discs (or pal depending where you live) its fussy about discs(DVD - R only) and discs that have been dubbed using this machine tend to cause problems in other players. Even my PC has a hard time with discs dubbed using this. Oh' and it puts macrovision on your VHS tapes if transfering from DVD R's. yes, blank DVDs! They will though play in this but no other VCR! Piece of crap went straight in the bin. i'd feel guilty if i sold it to someone!
