we are going to get the 417 in the norwegian national guard. Can`t wait. The g36 is to complex to cope with the rough treatment of battle..

@militia765 A factory HK416 is around $1000 to a LEO agency. On the civilian market, due to their rarity and hype, you'll normally see the 10.4" uppers sell for between $3000 and $3500. The 14.5" uppers are much more rare and I've seen them go for as cheap as $2500 and as expensive as $5000.

Now that the MR556 is in stores, you can pick up a full factory HK rifle for ~$3000. After a few months, that'll drop down to around $2500 and even cheaper on the used market.

In theory they're all AR-180 copies, the SA-80 just didn't copy it very well.

HK fixed the british L85A2 (SA80) in part by get a modded G36 gas system in to it.

You just contradicted yourself. The internal components (bolt, piston, etc.) are the same design weather they are in the 416 shell or the G36 shell. They share the same operating system.

uhm, actually, it tends to jam less then an M4..but america had the dustresults made for the common guns they want to use

the 416, the SCAR-L the XM8 and the M4...

the 416: 233 jams

the SCAR: 226 jams

the XM8: 127 jams

and the M4: 882 jams

hk416/417 are not simmilar to the g36. the only simmilarity is how the gasses are wented
