I loved this speccy classic but i did not know how funny it was till i just watched this, that guy doing the vault (3rd stage) looks about 70 year old, which made me laugh but then i saw him roll 20 metres on his second attempt then quickly stood up as if no one would notice, then just when it thought it couldn't look any more ridiculous in his 3rd attempt he skidded 20 metres on his head and still qualified, brilliant!!!

I used to play this on my brothers Spectrum ZX-81 when I was a kid in the 80/90's and I'm still playing it! (still have the original working Spectrum). Now whats even better I just got my hands on the MAME version. It's basically the same but with better graphics!!! I love this game so much. One of the best games in the world ever for me.

Con este juego termine de romper la membrana de mi teclado, que ya estaba tocada de jugar al Daley Thompson's Decathlon. Unas 2000 pelas de la epoca me costo la broma, pero no me pesó demasiado, lo mucho que me divertia esta fantastica conversion de la maquina recreativa compensaba el gasto.

Luego con el Track and field de C64 cayeron unos cuantos joysticks. En sus buenos tiempos Konami si sabia hacer juegos, tan buenos que no te importaba cargarte lo que fuera por ganar.

I wouldn't bother with the Spectrum version - get the arcade version.

Ycan get an arcade emulator. MAME is the most common one i think. there are stacks of sites like romnation where you can download MAME onto your PC. after that it is simply a case of downloading each game that you want to play. BTW downloading games in this fashion is illegal unless you already own a copy of the game
