@ConTurk dude i listen to Vai all the time and to be honest i would rate herman li one of the greatest guitarsits of all time, right up there with Vai. If you listen to them, most of Vais songs are based around one scale.

Herman Li knows his way around a fretboard - I'll give him that. He is fast.

But he's kind of like a kid who reads the dictionary to be really good at Scrabble. He can spell the words, sure, but it doesn't mean he can write well.

Oh, and there are Flamenco guitarists who are faster than Herman Li, btw. Look on YouTube, they aren't too hard to find.
