this was soooo intense. i remember watching it, and just kinda went numb. It's amazing that after all those seasons of horrible baseball, they made it to the world series. shows the character of detroit sports :)

@Mastercaster1984 I really don't think Santiago will be an everyday starter. Leyland has already said he is more than happy platooning second between Raburn and Santiago. I don't know if Santiago would make a good lead-off hitter either. Doesn't walk a lot and has a career OBP of .316, which isn't good. Jackson is going to have to find a way to cut down on his strike-outs, or get moved from the top of the line-up.

@JustinVerlander35 Yea if we dont pick up a 2b im looking foward to see how santiago does in the starting role. also I think they should try and put Santiago in the lead off spot with the troubles of jackson last year

I was working at a pizzeria and was actually on the phone with a customer at the time this had happened. I dropped the phone and went nuts with the rest of the crew. I then realized that I had disregarded the customer on the phone and picked it up to apologize, but all I heard from the other end were 20 people acting even more crazier. The guy eventually came back on and said "We are gonna need a shit ton of pizza tonight!" Haha... I'll never forget that moment.
