Glad to know that he left on top!

He was always so joyous on stage. He seemed to love to be there.

Flip is the man. Along with Nat King Cole he's one of my media/television role models.

One of the most naturally funny people you ever saw. Proud to call him one of New Jersey's own (even in Malibu). When I was a kid, I didn't want to be a rock star, I wanted to be as funny as Flip Wilson. RIP

When they talk about the great comedians of all time they never mention Flip Wilson!! Truly one of the funniest people that has ever lived. He was Richard Pryor,Milton Berle,Bill Cosby,Red Foxx,Jack Benny and Jonathon Winters rolled into one. Yet uniquely his own. Thursday nights were never same. In our house it was spaghetti or something Italian and Flip. Sometime I laugh out loud when I remember some of the things he said. A true Jersey boy who will live in my heart and mind forever. Peace.
Now THAT'S a commedian! R.I.P. Flip.
