if love is a human right, why shouldn't polygamy be allowed between consenting adults?

"protect the human"

Awww, very sweet, but there are no loving humans in the vid, that's not right.

@dcs002 It`s up to all of us I think. It`s in the way we treat our neighbours, our clients, our staff... it`s in our eyes - in the way we look at the poor and homeless.
It`s not about deeds, it`s about a mindset of rescpect that too many people lack these days.
This video is not a message to the unloved, it`s for those who cause, aggravate or ignore their misery.

I don`t think true love can be divided into different kinds... although there are different accompanies depending on who we love. It`s in general nothing physical, nothing sexual - though love and sex are meant to go hand in hand...
I think; Love is based on empathy and compassion... Love is a result of these abilities - Love is heartfelt, universal respect for all that is. To love unconditionally means to understand the worth of all Life.
And people dramatically lack respect these days.

Trust is earned, and so is friendship, but I think love is different. I could go up to a stranger in the street and do all those things you listed, and I would be more likely to be arrested for it than loved.
There are so many different kinds of love. Maybe parental love for their children should be a right. I'm autistic (43yo) and I grew up neglected, so that issue is close to home.
I think most love just occurs, without being earned.

Little more than a philosophical point here, but human rights allow humans to seek what we want & need and to express our individuality. Usually human rights allow us to be us, without requiring that another human fulfill that right, other than our governments (right to medical care & education in some countries, etc.).
.
So how is love a right? Who's job is it to provide love to the lonely? The govt? If I find myself lonely and unloved, whom do I sue for violating my right to love?

@selfsmartgal From a guy you'll never know, thank you!
Screw Valentines day;it's a shallow corporate holiday that serves little other purpose than to give an economic boost. It makes me sick when girlfriends actually get HUGELY emotionally upset if their significant others forget it like our expression of love for one another should be mandated for a specific day of the year.
Yeah, flame me all you want, but I refuse to ever acknowledge this stupid money-grab that has brainwashed people into attaching emotional significance to an annual money grab.
