  • great! and i like the cross on your guitar strap. Quick question regarding the bose l1 (model 2?): how many people (quiet audience) do you think it would cover? and have you had any experience with the compact? if so, how many people do you think it would cover?

    thanks, and may God Bless.

  • @crosswalkstudios

So sorry to be so long getting back to you. I just saw your comment. thanks so much for the kind words.

I've used the l1 model II with up to 500 at a Sr adult convention. It was a very quiet crowd and there was no problem at all.

I own a compact as well and have had no problem at all covering 100-150 people. A friend and I played a banquet at Christmas with 2 compacts and had no problem at all covering the crowd of about 350.

A quiet room is far better than a loud system

  • Hey, I like this. Do it again with the whole song. I play the guitar, and I play this song, and I love your style.

  • Thanks a lot. Go to my youtube site. click on the blue signature rwj47. the song is there, played on acoustic guitar.

Thanks again for the nice word from everyone.

    Rick

  • I like it, great sound!

  • A big part of the sound is the great Bose L1 speaker. This was recorded from the back of the room on a camcorder. The Bose is so clear, it's kind of scary.

  • @RWJ47 Well, if you had scrolled down a few comments made earlier... in response to a slightly misguided critic... you would find a few clues to my identity:) Paul Puckett here. I have enjoyed your offerings on youtube and I really am glad you are still picking!!!

  • @11245soap I sure do. Man, that was a long time ago. you have a good memory. Who am I talking to?

  • @flyinbryan6363 My dad always advised me not to respond to anyone who was mentally challenged. However, I will make an exception in your case. I met Rick at Shorter College in Rome in the mid-60's. At about 17 years old, Rick could play EVERYTHING Chet had recorded at that time.... and just as well. I was disappointed when he asked me to sell his Gretch Tennessean for him so that he could pursue music ministry. I'm glad to know he has combined the two:) paul@paulpuckett . com

  • @RWJ47 Better late than never! :)

I was going to get a compact, but I just bought a Martin d-28 and the music fund is dry now.... But I've decided to get one when given the chance.

    thanks for the answers!

  • Nicely played!
