  • hmm.... yea, there is still a long way to lifelike robots... THAT thing is as more as marionette doll. only a dead-dunked drunk can take it as a human

  • @Jugularkill Because those things affect how we process data, laptop processors already beat the shit out of human brains in processing power. But if emulating human behavior is the assumed objective, then the more complex problem is sensing its environment, not reacting to it.

  • @luisbeck007 2020 is only 8.5 yrs away, computers won't reach that level by then. It's complex, not impossible but complex. Consider subconscious thoughts, instinct, hesitation, learning, obsessions & emotions. These things affect how we process data, more like 50 > 500yrs till they reach our caliber.

I agree the robot industry will be unbelievably huge, bigger than the internet, as soon as they learn to cook & clean. Obviously it's heading to the sex industry too

  • Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems and the beginning of the bigger industry ever maid in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.
