Sam Maloof Residence, Workshop, and Gardens
Sam Maloof was America's most widely admired contemporary furniture craftsman. Maloof, entirely self taught, was one of only a handful of furniture designer-craftsmen to make his livelihood working full time with his hands. His historic residence and workshop, located in the foothills of Rancho Cucamonga, is a living museum where visitors can view examples of his style and craftsmanship, which has even been exhibited in the Smithsonian. Public tours of the Maloof residence are available twice weekly, and special group tours are available by appointment. The Maloof residence and workshop — operated by the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts — is a must-see stop that should be on the itinerary of anyone who appreciates fine woodworking.
(Special Note: Sadly, Sam Maloof passed away May 21, 2009 at the age of 93. He will be remembered as a visionary, artist and craftsman, and one of Rancho Cucamonga's true treasures.)
that is truly amazing!

I'm not lying, I met him, a bunch of times. You all won't believe this I know but he built my treehouse door because my grandpa was his friend and made the tv special.
