I for one know that you were saying BR it way the French said it when they were the first nonnative America to land on the shore of the Mississpi at, what was to become in the French, Baton Rouge (Baton = Stick and Rouge = Red).

lol, i agree, you pronounce "Baton Rouge" and "New Orleans" incorrectly.
If the were spelled phonetically, they would be spelled like this.
