The first time most of the world heard the voice of General Norman Johnson he was singing these words "You take some music, sweet-flowing music, some moving and groovin', rock and roll, it will stand" from The Showmen's 1961 legendary rock suite, "It Will Stand". General Johnson passed away this past Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, and it would have been more appropriate had he died on a "Tuesday" since as he said singing lead with the Chairmen Of The Board in September of 1970, "Everything's Tuesday".
