its actually quite easy, i have little to no knowledge about this stuff so if im able to get this running on my wii, it must be easy

Clearly someone didn't read the entire post. I said, "almost anyone who has set up a home network for their computers". Besides, Homebrew isn't something that people who don't understand those kinds of things should be doing, it's a risk, and it's a risk that you should NOT be taking if you don't understand common and simple computer jargon.

TCP/UDP ISN'T something that's familiar to "almost anyone", and that's all that matters, not some make-believe ethics dictating that it should be. Dilbert is wrong.

It is actually more or less user friendly if you compare it to the knowledge base required to write said homebrew apps. TCP/UDP is something that SHOULD be somewhat familiar to almost anyone whose set up a home network for their computers. Likewise, most of the "jargon" can't really be simplified much more than it already has been. If you don't know what something is on that site, google it.

I just read the Homebrew Channel webpage. That was fucking hilarious. Just by reading the "What you need" you get to say "I'm sorry, I need a WHAT that does WHAT?" because it's just another piece of underground complicated gobbledygook. "Streaming homebrew apps over TCP"? Yeah, what was the part there about the thing, again? A TCP, that's like a BLT, right?
