I think what Laibach is doing here is emphasizing the hollow aspect of their ideals. Yes, they remain virtually untouched, beautiful, and astounding, though meaningless and ineffectual. The song sounds more like a funeral hymn than anything that would represent something positive. Then again, Catholicism isn't exactly the happiest religion in the world.
