Mirror's Edge Demo: Three Stars on "Edge" Time Trial

Mirror's Edge is already becoming my favorite game of the year based on the demo alone, and part of the reason is my addiction to time trial. This game is going to take speedrunning communities to new heights with it's incredibly intricate gameplay nuances and details.

In this video I show off a method of obtaining a three-star skill rating in the time trial of the second demo level. Please bear in mind that part of the wonder of this game will be discovering paths for yourself. I do NOT plan on continually providing walkthroughs for levels when the game releases, as I feel this takes away from the experience.

To any players, I advise you NOT to download the ghosts of the top ranking players for this very reason. I did this without looking at someone else's method, and I'll continue to do things on my own. The sense of accomplishment for doing something on your own is far greater than "tracing" someone else's art...and I use that word to it's full meaning.

I know that this video is a contradiction to what I said, but since this is merely a small portion of what the full game will have to offer, I thought it would be a good idea to provide just a glimpse into how intricate playing this game will become.

Bear in mind that this time has since been improved. I don't want to show you my current ghost for the sake of letting you all discover your own ways to improve upon this...again...contradictory, so take this as an exception to my philosophy.

That has nothing to do with what I said.

The love for a game is more important in my opinion.

Its more important than seeing it as a simple goal that you have to accomplish.
