Wow! It's great to see and hear a Polish-American Polka again after so many years! Down here in Alabama, this type of entertainment is almost nonexistent. I have subscribed to this fabulous group. I miss good polka music after leaving new Jersey.

Do you happen to know an English translation. I remember singing this as a young boy with the refrain, Yesterday we slept in mud, tomorrow maybe satin, pink and yellow satin, hupaj shoop

I remember years ago I saw a show where everone had to sing a song from their family background and Bobby Vinton sang this song.

My grandfather sang me this at his knee. A LONG time ago. Does anyone know the lyrics?

Wow, excellent. Thanks to an alert reader of my blog.
I love this clip! I'm not Polish-American, but I grew up in an area with many Poles, and my family was friendly with the Cheskys of Rex Records. So this song has been in my soul since I was very small, and this is a great performance, the fiddle-playing girls are great!

Those young ladies have a lot of energy. We saw them at The Villages at Spanish Springs in Lady Lake, Florida
