The relics of Saint John Bosco are in Thailand as part of a worldwide pilgrimage in preparation for the saint's 200th birth anniversary.
The relics arrived at Don Bosco Technical School in Bangkok on Nov. 18. About 2,000 people visited the relics on the first day. The relics will be touring Salesian communities in Thailand until Nov. 30 before leaving for Cambodia.
The relics contain remains of the saint within a wax replica of his body kept in a glass coffin.
