2011 MRA Superstreet Round 3 at High Plains Raceway. Forward video is from a Gopro 960 and rearward is an older Canon Elph mounted to my 2000 ZX12R. As you can see from the rear video I had a heck of a time trying to get the rear Michelin Power Pure to hook up. Had a big moment in practice and another bit of a moment coming out of 10 on the last lap here.
This is a fantastic video! Lots and lots of good information in here, but my question is, why don't you blip on your downshifts to alleviate the rear tire chirping? Not trying to start anything, it's an honest question.

@Spoooph The main reason I don't blip is because I learned to downshift from Jason Pridmore. Check out his Star motorcycle school for his techniques. It worked better on my smooth shifting Yamaha, but this Kawi has a really clunky transmission. You'll notice I hit a false neutral between 2 and 3 several times throughout the race. If I didn't shift so lazily it'd probably work better. Also, I just got this bike so I'm still getting used to it. It's awfully fun in the straights!!!!!!!!!!!!

@JHawkins303 - I believe there were 19 this time. I was 16th. Pretty good sized grid!

Awesome video. Thanks. I like it because I know the track, camera work is terrific, the exhaust note let's us know what you're doing. Great ride.

@1dfoss The audio is coming from the Canon Elph mounted to my rear footpeg, so that captures the exhaust pretty well. The GoPro audio from the front was sub-par. The laps/lap times aren't spectacular, but the goal in Superstreet is to keep it upright and have fun.
