Another re-upload from my previous nuked account, although this is a *much* better quality encode from the original.
The second installation of bits from a promo tape from a UK computer gaming store circa 1986. Now with even more dodgy accents and dated, expensive software. Yes, 'Fleet Street' sure does look like something you'd pay FORTY QUID for. Also noted for the previously unknown Quake prequel - 'Quake Minus 1'!
Special mentions - 'Yabba Dabba Doo' for worst voiceover and 'Fleet Street Editor' for making MSPAINT.EXE look like Photoshop.
Titles included :
Gyroscope (C64/BBC B/Amstrad - Melbourne House)
Strangeloop (C64/Amstrad/Spectrum - Virgin Games)
Big League Soccer (Amstrad 464 - Viper)
Panzadrome (Spectrum 48k - Ariolasoft)
Skyfox (Amstrad, Spectrum 48k - Ariolasoft)
Yabba Dabba Doo (C64, Amstrad, Spectrum 48k - Quicksilver)
Fleet Street Editor (BBC Micro - Mirrorsoft)
Gerry the Germ Goes Bodypoppin' (C64 - Firebird)
Quake Minus 1 (C64/128 - Beyond)
@banneradders Its amazing and to be honest a bit sad how much strangeloop has seemingly been forgotten despite it being of the same quality as the other Gang of 5 game, sorcery.

Quake Minus One was a right bastard of a game. I managed to get three of the four baddy comps under my control.

That Panzadrome ad is almost word-for-word identical to the ad in magazines (except the bit about blowing your mind), which probably explains why it sounds odd coming from a Dalek voice.
Also this video is beyond awesome. The voiceovers are hilarious and I love how it randomly comes up with messages on the screen like DEFEAT ALIENS. It's already made me hunt down some of these games and buy them!
