More... I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER film locations

"J" here. I just made a trip down to Burgaw, NC to film the store HARRELL'S aka "SHIVER'S" from I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. I've worked really hard to find the locations shown in this video. I had a lot of luck, too. With hard work, you make your own luck, really. I want to say thanks to Michelle, the wife of the gentleman you'll see in the video operating the old elevator. She really helped make this video possible. Thanks also to HARRELL'S store owner, Charles Harrell. He personally allowed me to film all the scene locations within his store. He still fondly remembers when they filmed I KNOW... and considers it to be a positive experience. You'll likely be welcomed to come and visit HARRELL'S in Burgaw, NC to see the store for it's I KNOW landmarks and stay and shop yourself ( I bought a BURGAW t-shirt and it has a great image of the town square that was shown in the film across the front of it ). The store itself is 106 years old & it's owner is in his 80's now, so take it nice and slow once you arrive, if you do decide to plan a visit. The next location I visited is the now completely removed Ollie's Oyster Bar, as it was called in the movie. The deck behind the building had a pertruding little pier attached. That pier is all that is left to show, but it does indicate to fans exactly where OLLIE'S once stood. "Shooter" anyone? Finally, we go to Barry Cox's house. Yep. Private beach and all, I got the ok to film there for a few minutes and was thrilled to be able to bring you this very hard to see location. "I know what you did last summer, ooohhh." I like the Prom Night chase scene with Wendy. Prom Night is in my top 5 films of all time. I always thought it was a steal from Halloween. Seems more like it. Wendy just hid in a car and a closet (I think), no beating on a door with the killer fast approaching. You know? Thanks for commenting. Interesting. Later, J.

I love this vid! My friend and I used to be obsessed with this movie when we were 12. We knew every line to it. I love the rare photo of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt with the owner of the dept. store. I want to see the curve where they had the wreck. I heard it was filmed in California, is that true?
